This stack provides ROS functionality for the libelas library. libelas is written by AndreasGeiger.
libelas provides efficient large-scale stereo matching. Additional point cloud construction algorithms are provided.
This stack includes two packages - elas, which compiles the libelas library, and elas_ros, which provides the ROS nodes for interfacing with libelas.
This shows an example point cloud that can be constructed. See elas_ros for more detail. This uses the St Lucia dataset, which is available at https://wiki.qut.edu.au/display/cyphy/UQ+St+Lucia
